Greg and Nathan Gilles have built homes that last on this island since 1992, together with the families who live in them.

Greg founded Greg Gilles Construction Services in 1992, after years partnering with Dennis Kamera under Kamera & Gilles Carpentry. When Dennis retired in 2019, Nathan stepped into the partnership with his father. Three decades on, they still build the way they always have: quality first, honest pricing, and a low-stress process from the first walk-through to the last punch list.
We’ve worked in every architectural style the island calls for, on every kind of site Whidbey has to offer. Beach houses, farmhouses, modern retreats, careful remodels. The constants are the people, the standard, and the way we treat our clients, crew, architects and subcontractors as part of one team.

Nathan Gilles
Nathan grew up on Whidbey watching his father Greg build homes for families he knew by name. After years working alongside Greg on every kind of project the island offers, he stepped into the partnership and now leads day-to-day operations.
He believes in straight answers, careful planning, and treating every site like it’s his own family’s home. If you’ve called Gilles Construction in the last few years, you’ve probably already talked to Nathan.
